🃏Blackjack

A card game where players aim to achieve a hand value closest to 21 without exceeding it, competing against the dealer.

Start a Blackjack game

To start a Blackjack game, go to the 🎲 Casino channel and click the Start button. Now click 🃏New Blackjack Table.

Create New Blackjack Table

Once your table is created it will create your table in a Discord thread and you will be mentioned in the thread. In your thread you will see the following message:

If you don't know the Blackjack house rules, read them first before proceeding. You can find them in Blackjack.

Your game is ready, invite your friends or not, enjoy!

Join a Blackjack game

To join an active Blackjack table, go to the 🎲 Casino channel and click the Start button. If there any active tables, they will be displayed there.

Once you have found a table you want to join, click on the table and you will be listed in the table thread. Now click the Join Game button to join the table and wait for the game to be started by the 👑 Game Master.

The 👑 Game Master can update some settings of the table, this are the options:

  • 💻 Manage Players:

    • 👟 Remove Player: Kick a player from the game

  • 👀 Manage Game Visibility:

    • 🙌 Make Game Public: Anyone can join

    • 🔒 Make Game Private: No one can join

Play a Blackjack game

If you don't know the Texas Hold'em house rules, read them first before proceeding. You can find them Blackjack House Rules

To play a game, the 👑Game Master needs to start the round by clicking the 👑Start Round button.

Once the game is started, it proceeds according to the rules in Rules.

Players will have to make a choice in turn, if they take too long they will automatically stand their hand.

Rules

  1. Players and the dealer are dealt two cards each; players can see one of the dealer's cards.

  2. The goal is to have a hand value closest to 21 without going over. Face cards are worth 10, Aces are 1 or 11, and number cards are their face value.

  3. Players can 'hit' to take additional cards or 'stand' to maintain their total.

  4. If a player's total exceeds 21, they 'bust' and lose the round.

  5. The dealer reveals the hidden card and must hit until their cards total 17 or higher.

  6. Players win by having a higher total than the dealer without busting or by the dealer busting.
